Habitat:
Open woods, thickets, towns, gardens.
These energetic brown birds have a cheerful, lilting song as they dart from place to place.
The house wren is distinguished from other wrens by a light eye ring and lack of facial striping.
Wrens often perch with tails cocked upward, and often nest in bird boxes.
