Fisheries Educators in Your Area
Sea Grant has six education specialists who work in Michigan’s coastal areas and support commercial fishing, charter fishing and sport fishing. These specialists are often involved in fisheries education efforts like workshops, cruises and camps. Additional fisheries resources online are below.
K-12 Curriculum About Fisheries
FLOW lessons are free, available online and can be used in parts and pieces -- reviewing just the background information or using just an activity. Lessons include rubrics, learning objectives and are aligned to science content expectations.
