Michigan Clean Marina Program

Clean Marina Fees

Total Certification Fees = $449
Fees cover the following program components:

  • Training – Clean Marina Classroom ($199)*
This self-paced, online course includes details on recommended and mandatory practices of the Clean Marina Program. See the Clean Marina Classroom Overview fact sheet (PDF)
  • Marina Site Visit with Certification Specialist ($250, plus travel)

After completing training, marina operators schedule a site visit with a certification specialist through the Michigan Boating Industries Association (MBIA). A certification specialist will tour the marina facility and complete a certification checklist. (This is not a regulatory compliance inspection.) Certification specialists are focused on assisting marina operators by providing advice about addressing best management practices to achieve certification.

*Current MBIA members are eligible to receive discounts for certification fees.
